"It's so frustrating because we had a satisfying training result," says Hannes Arch
"I don't think the wind is going to be an issue today, we've not got any forecast of higher wind conditions," says commentator Paul Bonhomme
"Start speed is key," Bonhomme explains.
Hall going harder in this second run and the splits are looking great.... two green splits but no! The call comes to knock it off as Hall gets an automatic DNF.
Muroya up next... he's sporting new wingtips and looking to equal or better his second place finish with 56.938 earlier today
Pete McLeod cleared into the track... the Team Garmin pilot has achieved a best time of 7th place in free practice. Even with just 191.88kts on the clock through the Start Gate Pete McLeod looking fast through the first split... but there's some extra baggage and Pete McLeod appears to be having to work harder through the racetrack. He's through the Finish Gate with 58.525 on his Run 1. That's not as fast as FP3 but he's got another chance to go faster.
McLeod returning to the track for Run 2, a little wide on the chicane gate but the pace is looking better this time around.
