Le Vot picking his markers and setting the scene out there. He's returning with a similar setup to Budapest and just wants to keep it clean and smooth...
Full throttle for Le Vot and he's clean at 1:11.121 - no penalties. That's a better time than in Training so he's finding his lines, but he just needs that speed out of his plane...
Next up it's the Spanish smiler Juan Velarde
Smoke on for Velarde and he's already in the green but loses time in Gate 5, 6, 7... the split times are back in the red. A flatter, wider turn for Velarde this time around and he's clean through Gate 9. Back in the Green!
Velarde shunts Le Vot down the results list with 1:10.573
Kirby Chambliss needs to get back into his groove for Qualifying... he put in a good Training Run and just needs to refine those lines
Chambliss 1:08.956 - that's good and he's quicker on the pace than in Training. He's looking much more confident out there today!
Hall set the bar at 1:07.721 so that'll be the time on all the pilots' minds as they take to the track. Muroya into the track next...
Yoshi looking a little bit more collected out there, he's snappy and the splits are in the green. He knows what he has to do to top the timesheets and Gate 10 hasn't presented too many problems so far...
Peter Besenyei getting ready for the standing start. Remember, they've got 700m to reach optimum race speed before the Start Gate
Besenyei in the Edge 540 with a few tweaks since its inaugural outing in Budapest. Besenyei clocked in 1:10 in Training and oh no! Insufficient Smoke so that's an automatic penalty for the Hungarian pilot
Good lines, good speed but that smoke penalty is going to cost him, what a disappointment for Team Besenyei! A high-G turn and sprint for the Finish Gate and he's clocking in 1:12.332 - that's including +3s penalties for insufficient smoke and incorrect level flying in an Air Gate
Muroya leads the field as Ivanoff takes to the sky. Can Ivanoff revisit his former Ascot form? Let's see...
Ivanoff seems to be lacking speed, although he's looking tidy out there. But something is bugging the Frenchman, he's still not sure about his racing lines and he's gaining tenths of a second here and there... but he's pushing hard!
Big improvement since the Training session earlier today for Ivanoff... 1:08.075
US pilot Mikey G out onto the runway. He's been shredding his way through the Track so we're expecting big things from the American out there today
Mike dips and dives through the track and he's in the green soon after he's entered the track. But a little behind the pace as he pushes hard... over half a second off Muroya's pace and Goulian can't quite find the fastest line yet. But it's clean, it's safe and it's good - currently third place with 1:08.438
Dolderer's Training session was haphazard but he's pulled himself together out there it seems. Green on the splits
NO! Incorrect level flying at Gate 3... that's +2s for the German
But he's staying focused and staying committed... without that penalty it's a track record so he just needs to keep it clean!!! Dolderer 1:08.439
Next up it's local hero Nigel Lamb
Sorry, slight technical hitch but we're back in the room!
Sonka looking like a heavyweight for a podium finish tomorrow but Hall is the man with a plan as he storms his way into the lead once again with 1:06.876
And it's Austria's Hannes Arch flying next – he's hot off a win in Budapest...
But it's all over too quickly and Arch opts for a Safety Climb Out... we'll have to wait to see what that's about, but he's off to the hold for now
He'll go straight to the bottom of the Qualifying list as he forefeits the chance to post a solid time...
But now it's Paul Bonhomme to fly and as the winner here in 2014 and the current WC leader, he's full of confidence for his home race
