One to go and we've got McLeod, Arch, Bonhomme already in the final... will it be Hall or Sonka joining them?
Sonka goes first and flying against the main man here in Budapest is going to be the toughest call of his career... he's so close to making it through but can he do enough today?
Good flying and precise in the turns, taking the second vertical turn flatter... good race line and it's a 59.701! WOW! That is superb!
Hall will really have to make it count now to progress and save just enough for the final...
He's got the track record and has been under 1 minute all week but Sonka has really thrown down the gauntlet
What a sensational Round of 8!
Hall's in the red at the start with the split times but it's the second lap where Hall's race line really works for him... but no, it's back in the red!
OMG! That was not the plan... it's a 59.884 and HE IS OUT!
Sonka makes up the final, with McLeod, Arch and Bonhomme! Now that is the klnd of racing we like!
Sorry to all our Australian fans following the action... we're as surprised as you!
Bonhomme: "There's some quick guys out there..." sounds like the pressure is on the Brit who has little to say at the Race Airport
Lot of love for Sonka on here! Can he take it all the way... not long to wait. We'll have the Final 4 any minute
McLeod is out and he's in the hunt... this is really aggressive flying and he's got a great run there when it really matters! It's a 1:01.113... not as fast as it looked
That might not be enough for a podium Pete...
Hall at the Race Airport: "I'm disappointed and I don't know what happened. I was pretty happy I could get a 58s time again... my race to lose and I did it."
Austrian Arch is up next and he's hot from a win in Rovinj in May... he also won here in 2008. Keep it clean Hannes and this could be a repeat performance in Budapest
It needs to be sub 1m and it's green so far, great turns and he's gaining ground the whole time
Now it's the last high G... can he do this... it's all green and that's a guaranteed podium!
It's 59.350 clean! Arch pulls it out of the bag and we'll have to see if Bonhomme or Sonka can rise to the challenge
Bonhomme will be in a better spot now Hall won't be on the podium – they are tied on points and whatever happens, the Brit can achieve a decent lead over the Australian
But will it be a win? He started really strong in 2015 but Rovinj was a washout...
Mr Consistent is out in the track and it's red so far, he needs to be sub 1 minute if he wants the win... and this isn't enough... the raceplane is not getting quite enough power to smash Arch's time
It's 59.557 putting him in second place behind Arch... so just Sonka to go!
