QUICK RECAP>>> SONKA // LAMB // BONHOMME // IVANOFF are through
Besenyei flies first and he's loving that new Edge 540 complete with winglets
He takes a new tack out there today and it seems to be paying off
We're seeing a different Peter out there! It's looking good and he's strong
BUT NO! That's 2s at the Finish Gate! He banked to avoid the pylon and had to opt for incorrect level rather than a hit but it's a slow time for Muroya to compete against
Muroya goes next and after a great result in Qualifying - 2nd in that session - he should walk this one
Smooth in the track and he's looking confident, it's a good run for the Japanese pilot
Even with some correction to his line he's in the green all the way! It's a 59.121 and he's through!
Last heat in the Round of 14 now – LE VOT V DOLDERER
This is the fastest V slowest from yesterday's Qualifying and we don't want to tempt fate but our money's on Dolderer... but he has a habit of blowing it under pressure
Let's reserve judgement for the moment and see what Le Vot can do to lay down the challenge
Lamb back at the Race Airport: "It was just a matter of everything coming together in one run. I'm not sure how far ahead I am ahead of Matt but that was 3s faster than any other run this week."
We'll keep you posted on here :) It's LE VOT V DOLDERER any moment now...
Dolderer took the track record yesterday in Qualifying and claimed his first victory in that round
The French pilot is cleared into the track... bonne chance!
We hear those grunts from the cockpit as Le Vot handles the G forces
Good line into the chicane which looks like an improvement but can he make it through and hold off Dolderer?
NO! That is a tough call as Le Vot takes out the Finish Gate pylon!
