These pilots are really on fire. When they're finished with their runs, you can see that they're out of breath even though they're all super fit, and that tells me there's a lot of G-force. This is such a difficult racetrack – they have to be one hundred percent focused and committed.
He's back in the track and gunning for a sound performance... but all too soon we hear the buzzer and AGAIN it's over G for Mikey G! Gate 4 - is he pushing too hard? He mentioned yesterday that he really wants that podium here.
One last run through the track and one last chance to get himself near the top of the timesheets ahead of Qualifying. We hold our breath and watch... Run 3 looking good and he slips up the rankings, just ahead of Pete McLeod and behind Martin Sonka with 53.915 - currently fourth place overall.
Nigel Lamb up next and he'll be looking to get his performance up to par after a very slow start to the 2015 season. Lamb is straight into the track with a green split time, looking to knock Muroya off the top spot but he's soon losing speed...
Then we hear he's under review as confirmation comes in of a penalty at Gate 3 for incorrect level flying. That's not good news for Lamb as he clocks in 56.287... +0.283 behind leader Muroya.
Lamb comes in fast for his second run, and he's obviously learning quickly from his mistakes as he passes cleanly through Gate 3, and again cleanly through the troublesome Gate 4... no penalties for Lamb and he clocks in at 54.403
