Slovenia's Peter Podlunsek now in the track... it's not looking too promising as he loses time on the splits... he's struggling to scrub off speed and another blow as he gains +2s for incorrect level flying at Gate 10! But it's not all bad news as he's currently holding onto a third place finish
Still, another chance to make it all right...
He's stormed into that track with at least another 10kts on his start speed... it's a better run and he just needs to stay smooth and focused out there. Again he's losing speed as he heads out in to latter half of the track and it's just a question of pure speed as he sprints for the Finish Gate. Its a definite improvement as he skips up into current second place with 1:08.305
Podlunsek returning to the race airport and just waiting now for Brageot and Ryfa to do their thing. Can he hold onto a podium place in Spielberg?
Brageot back in the track for his final flying sessions today and we're seeing green all over the split times...
He's clean, clean, clean through those Gates but NO! He can't quite match Kopfstein's speed in that last push for the Finish Gate and he finishes just 0.428 shy off the Czech's pace.
One more run to go...
He's back into the track and again, we're seeing some great split times from Brageot. He'll be giving it everything he's got and is still scrubbing off speed, he's found 0.2 in the track in the second split times....
Brageot still holding onto the lead and it's a final green split time after one monumental sprint to the Finish Gate. Brageot steals the lead from a disappointed Kopfstein, who can have done nothing but watch everything unfold.
Only Ryfa can steal that first place finish from the Frenchman now...
The wind has swung around to the west and it's just 3kts out there, so Ryfa shouldn't have a particularly turbulent run in the track. He's cool and calculating and coming into the track right now...
And it's 202.45kts through the Start Gate - he's exceeded the start speed limit! That's one run scrubbed for Ryfa! Only one chance left
There's no second chances now
Ryfa coming back around for his last run in the track. He's got to get it spot on to take that win...
And he's safely through the Start Gate at 194.42kts
But the split times are in the red and he's behind Brageot's pace by 0.3s
Ryfa losing pace out there, he's almost a second behind Brageot's pace now and he's really got his work cut out. Another 1.5s dip in his pace now...
It looks like the game's over for Ryfa and the split times are firmly in the red as he finishes 1.504s behind Brageot with 1:07.080 , placing Ryfa in third. That's a bitter ending for Podlunsek who is pushed down into fourth, but massive congratulations to Brageot, who has shone in Spielberg all weekend.
