Nicolas Ivanoff up now and he's against Pete McLeod – this one could go either way, but all he's on it! It's a 58.138 and that's his fastest time so far this week!
The Canadian Pete McLeod is gearing up for his run next and we know he can go hard on the Gs, so he'll need to watch out on that downhill run on the second run...
He just needs to make it through without getting too hot under the collar...
Smooth into the track and the line's looking good. It's a tight line and low over the trees... that's in the red though :(
Amazing turn there at Gate 7 and he's OK with the G... and that puts him into the green! No, that's under review... he's all good and it's a 57.027 and he's through to the Round of 8!
Next in the head to heads is Kirby Chambliss against Hannes Arch...
Arch is the stronger contender but Chambliss knows that home pressure on the Austrian could be useful...
It's a 58.876 and that's a great run for the American... it's not the fastest time but that's a measured approach from Chambliss. Let's see what happens next ;)
We've had 20,000 fans here at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg this weekend and there's no doubt the locals love Arch!
- Pylon Hit!

NO! That is a pylon hit at the Start Gate... we are speechless (almost)
Looks like Arch couldn't get his approach to the track quite right and that might well be due to the stronger winds now coming across the start of the track...
So Chambliss goes through and that will be an early bath for Hannes Arch. That is a BIG blow after the technical issues at Ascot... and we think that could be the end of Arch's title quest for 2015...
