And hello to everyone here waiting for the start of the Master Class Round of 14... we are currently experiencing heavy rain and our start time has been put back to 1430 local time, which is in about 22 minutes
SCHEDULE UPDATE:
ROUND OF 14 DELAYED TO 1500 LOCAL TIME DUE TO RAIN
And we're back for the next instalment from the EuroSpeedway at Lausitz in Germany
We've already seen that it's anyone's race out there to win and yesterday's Qualifying winner Nigel Lamb is out!
But it's Germany's Dolderer who smashed his own personal best time to glide into the Round of 8
And for the first heats...
It's Pete McLeod V Kirby Chambliss
The Canadian is first out into the track and he throws down the gauntlet to Chambliss with a 55.496!
And his home straight, with the final VTM in his sights and it's a 55.128 for Goulian, putting Sonka in the top spot
First pilots to make the Final 4 = Pete McLeod + Martin Sonka
Who will join them? We've got Arch V Hall and then Ivanoff V Dolderer coming up...
And Arch is cleared into the track!
We've seen a few new aerodynamic mods introduced here for Team Arch, including some interesting zigzag tape on the leading edge of the wing to help with the introduction of winglets
He is under review! It's a fast run for the Austrian but let's see what the judges say...
It's all good – he clocks in at 54.452 and Hall needs to really nail this one for a place in the Final 4!
And this is where Dolderer needs to go all out for the home fans! It's green in the first spilt times and he was long on Gate 7 here so it's red!
