Next up Sweden's Daniel Ryfa about to fly – he finished 2nd overall behind Berger in 2016 and that's where the real battle for the Challenger Cup lies in 2017
The two are jostling for supremacy and hopefully an eventual promotion to the Master Class
Ryfa was 2nd in Qualifying and took a top spot in one of the FP sessions so appears to have the track dialled in... it's now a case of trying to slip past Berger
He's the last pilot to fly in today's Challenger Cup race and as it stands, we've got a top 3 of BERGER // ASTLES // MURPHY so Ryfa could really ruin the Brit's Abu Dhabi weekend if he stays on his game
Murphy: "It was about 2s slower than Qualifying. It just felt a bit sluggish."
Bonhomme in the commentary box advises that the wind may have dropped and there's a sea breeze – could the wind pick up now and ruin Ryfa's party...
Berger: "The race is not over. Daniel had really good times in all the trainings. It would be nice to be in the Master Class some day but for now I am concentrating on this race. All of the Challengers are all my competitors. It's not only Daniel."
Let's hope Daniel can keep his cool, says Bonhomme. Spot on! This could go either way, but the Swede doesn't get ruffled too easily from what we've seen so far in his race career
Daniel Ryfa is en route to the track now so let's get set here for the last run of the Challenger Cup race!
Melanie Astles is guaranteed a podium, alongside Berger... but will Ryfa of Murphy join them? Here we go...
The wind has completely changed since Berger's flight and this will make a difference to the track – Ryfa will need to be able to adapt as necessary
Ryfa is cleared into the track! This is the one that really counts... he's looking good, bit steep on the descent out of the VTM...
He's +0.16 on the first split... then claws back even more on the second
And the last split... it's still red and this is edge of the seat action! And he's done it at the final moment! It's GREEN!
01:00.206 for Ryfa and by a whisker!
+0.355 ahead of Berger!
ABU DHABI CHALLENGER CUP TOP 3:
Beautifully done, says Bonhomme
Daniel Ryfa of Sweden takes the first Challenger Cup win of 2017. Great flying!
And it's just minutes until we get started with the Master Class Round of 14 so stay tuned!
AND WE'RE BACK NOW FOR THE MASTER CLASS ROUND OF 14 HEAD TO HEADS!
