Last pilot for today... Francois Le Vot...
Not a bad run at all for the Frenchman – it's a 1:02.444 in Q1 as he flies his new Edge 540
Clearly it's a faster raceplane and Le Vot could start to see a change in luck if can harness that
And into Q2 for Le Vot...
But it's a slower run and that's not looking good... it's a 1:05.832 although the flying was very smooth, says Bonhomme
And that concludes Budapest Qualifying and it's all about McLeod today...
McLeod: "I need to do more of the same and a little bit of luck on race day, I was on the limit, on the turns, you need to do that on race day but you need to be able to get away with it."
Dolderer: "I over G'd the aeroplane and it can happen if you want to fly fast. We are flying against Yoshi Muroya so we have a chance to kick him out. Anything is possible. I feel comfortable in the track."
Full result story from Master Class Qualifying will follow and then it's the official Press Conference at 1815 local time...
BUDAPEST QUALIFYING SCHEDULE (LOCAL TIMES)
PRESS CONFERENCE 1815
Thanks for joining us today for Qualifying. We'll be back tomorrow at 1000UTC when the Challenger Cup starts! See you there!
Today is race day and we're kicking off now with the Budapest Challenger Cup!
It's a glorious day here in the Hungarian capital and track conditions are a little tougher than yesterday, with winds reaching between 20-25kts...
First up today will be the Challenger pilots:
In yesterday's Qualifying, Hungarian home favourite Daniel Genevey was fastest – impressive considering it's only his second ever race...
Frenchman Vignes is first out into the track today and unlike the Master Class pilots, the Challenges don't fly under the Chain Bridge...
Vignes will set the pace today... he's steady out there and it's clean through the track today... it's 1:15.048
Our second Challenger pilot today is one of the more experienced, Sweden's Daniel Ryfa... he finished down in 6th place in Qualifying which is not what we expect from the pilot sitting in 2nd place overall
He's cleared into the track and has Vignes' time to beat...
