NEWS UPDATE: Master Class Round of 14 postponed until at least 1350 local time
The sky is brightening and the forecast is set to change, so we expect flying later as planned
But it's a tough call for the final race of 2017 after a truly standout season
Let's hear from the pilots today...
Martin Sonka: "Hopefully the plane is prepared for the race after some problems with the engine setting yesterday. I am quite calm and looking forward to the flying itself. It's a big thing because the wind and the strength of the wind is totally different today – it's like coming to a new race."
Yoshi Muroya: "We were losing speed yesterday but we figured it out and fixed it. Today we are back to normal and we'll just do the race as before."
The Round of 14 is the key heat today and could see the World Championship decided. Current 1 and 2 standing pilots will race against each other – Muroya V Sonka
Pete McLeod: "Today's the day. It's blowing out there and it's raining. It'll be a bit of rodeo out on the track... "

Before the sun sets tonight, one of these 14 pilots will be only the second pilot to win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. One of them will also be crowned World Champion. Anything can happen on Race Day, but it all starts here...
Matt Hall: "I'd probably be the race favourite if the conditions were the same as yesterday. I'd put myself on an even keel now. Last year wasn't that great for me, I was a bit sick but I still made the Final 4. We're looking forward to racing but it's going to be very interesting."
Great to see the fans braving the weather here in Indianapolis! The final is set to be the wildest ride of the year!
