Canada's McLeod is in the track and he's the King of Qualifying in 2017... but will he take this one?
It's a strong but safe run and he gets through clean with a 1:05.464 for Q1 to put him in 4th place with two to fly
Muroya flies now and after a slow time in FP3 we'll see if he's remedied any issues...
He's into the track at 137.8kts and those first splits are red behind Hall!
And then the buzzer goes and it's 2s for incorrect level at Gate 11 – that line really isn't working for him with the wind conditions
It's 1:07.732 including those 2s for Muroya's Q1 run...
Last pilot for the Q1 session before the pilots recommence for Q2... it's the title favourite and standings leader Martin Sonka!
This is the race of his life and Sonka will need to apply his military mindset to deal with the pressure this weekend
Sonka is into the track at 140.64kts and that's fast...
But the first split time is red... and it's red again!
He's got Hall's 1:04.149 to beat... but Sonka stays in the red on the split times and he'll have to settle for 5th place with 1:05.507
Hall's time of 1:04.149 is the time to beat in Q2...
And Bolton kicks off Q2... he's into the track and as it stands, he could be up against Hall tomorrow unless he improves on his Q1 result
This is much better and he seems comfortable in the track... it's a 1:09.270 which knocks off 2s from Q1 and improves his chances...he moves into 12th place
Le Vot back into the track for Q2 and he'll need to fight the increasing winds like the other pilots...
The splits are red as you'd expect, but he only needs to beat his Q1 time of 1:13.082 and if he can avoid penalties, he'll be happy
And it's a 1:08.793 in Q2 for Le Vot, moving him into 11th place – that's 5s off his earlier time
Podlunsek now... 137.88kts into the track and currently sitting in 9th in the Qualifying timesheet
Red at the first splits... but his technique is different on this run... and it's requiring him to correct his headings between gates
But this is much better and he take a more aggressive roll in the VTM to post a 1:06.993 and it's faster than his Q1 so it's an improvement... he stays in 9th
Ivanoff to fly now and the French pilot needs to beat his 1:05.965 from Q1
Red on the first split but he's picking up pace after the VTM and closing the gap on Hall's time...
But he's taking risks out there and the buzzer goes at Gate 11 and that's 2s...
Ivanoff's Q2 is 1:07.320 and his earlier Q1 will stand as his faster time, leaving him in 6th currently
