Here's the startlist:
With a double-header this weekend for the Challengers, yesterday's rescheduled Chiba race saw Poland's Luke Czepiela take the win...
Here comes Kenny Chiang and we're off!
Bear with us if your webcast is having issues – we are on it!
Strong start for the Hong Kong pilot who had a tough day yesterday and finished in 7th
He's clean through the track and this is much better – it's 1:07.264 and that could put him much nearer the top of the timesheets today
WEBCAST IS WORKING – PLEASE REFRESH :)
Second of our Challenger pilots today is Baptiste Vignes, who finished yesterday in 6th
1:08.265 for Vignes and he's shaved off a second from yesterday's time
Third of six to fly here in Russia is American Kevin Coleman – a strong contender – but who seems to be a little off his game at the moment
He's cleared into the track and the conditions are a lot calmer today, making it easier to stay penalty free
Coleman is off the pace though and this is unlikely to be a podium result
1:08.965 for Coleman, putting him in 3rd at the halfway point
Chiang leads with Vignes in second as it stands...
Astles, Murphy and Ryfa to fly next... they will be getting set at the Race Airport now and conditions continue to improve
Kenny Chiang: "The wind is actually calm so I was happy in the track. The pressure was immense after yesterday so I'm glad I did the best I can. I am just focusing on my time."
Now for Melanie Astles... fastest in the earlier FP session but not a great result yesterday
Can she make it to the podium in Kazan?! Let's see...
