OK so Genevey is cleared into the track
This is where the battle will really take place as he will be eager to collect as many points as possible to get the best chance of securing a spot in the final
He was down in 4th place in FP3 earlier today and picked up a 1s penalty for insufficient smoke
Doesn't seem to be a problem for him in this Qualifying session and he posts a 1:00.422 to sit behind Murphy in 2nd place with three more to fly
France's Melanie Astles now ready to stake her claim
She's shown great form through the FP sessions and seems to really have her head in the game here in Germany
But it's a 1:00.492 for Astles, which is 1s slower than her time in FP2
Murphy leads, with Genevey in 2nd and Astles in 3rd with Ryfa and Berger to fly
Penultimate pilot for Challenger Qualifying is Ryfa and he's in the track
His only goal needs to be to beat Berger, more to tie with the German who has two race wins to his single one from Abu Dhabi
The split times are red for Ryfa and he's also off the pace after a convincing FP3 result where he topped the timesheets
It's 1:00.578 for Ryfa and that puts him in 5th, leaving Murphy at the top with just Berger to fly
The defending 2016 champion is also flying in front of a home crowd here in Germany so has plenty of pressure
He's also off Murphy's pace! It's a 1:00.377, which is only enough for 2nd place

The first of the pilots is up and it's Chile's Cristian Bolton
Every pilot gets two goes at laying down a great Qualifying time and in his first run it's clean – 52.992 is a good start
Second run for Bolton and the split times show he's improving out there on his first go
It's a consistent 52.689 for Bolton and that's the time he'll record
Next up it's France's Le Vot
The trickiest part of the track is getting through gates 2,3 and 4
How the pilots handle this will really divide the pack
Le Vot gets the first buzzer of the day from Race Control and it's 2s for incorrect level at Gate 4
Le Vot 54.221 and that's going to see him likely to be matched with a very strong opponent unless he can improve on his second run
