And it's double greens on the split times followed by red and he's losing time in the VTMs
And it's under review! It's a 2s penalty for incorrect level at Gate 8 and Podlunsek will have to settle for 1:11.117 for Q1
Time to clean it up... here he comes for another go
Great rhythm in the chicane and this is looking better... but we spoke too soon and it's a knock it off call from the Race Director for over G... that was just over 12G and an automatic DNF for Q2 for Podlunsek
Le Vot still at the top of the table, followed by Brageot and Podlunsek
Final of the French pilots now, it's Nicolas Ivanoff
Second fastest in FP3, Ivanoff really needs to step it up if he wants to finish the season in the top half of the pack
And those green lights keep coming! That's a great run and Q1 for Ivanoff is 1:09.325
Now can he work some magic in his second run?
Ivanoff hasn't made the final round yet this season and so he's only got three more chances to redeem himself... his Qualifying result will be key to this so he can have a greater chance of progressing in tomorrow's Round of 14
Green all the way so far! This is much better and he's almost home...
And there's the call from the tower that Ivanoff is under review
It's a 1:09.244 clean run for Ivanoff and he moves into third after just losing time at the end of his Q2 run
Le Vot still holding his lead so far in Qualifying with 8 more to fly
Pete McLeod: I think the wind will stabilise and you'll see the track slow down. It's generally smooth, not overly technical. We see the wind affected our time earlier so we're not worried about our time.
Matt Hall of Australia flies next... we know a few of you on here are joining us to support him!
Hall is not having a great 2017 after changing raceplanes this year and refining his team set up
Down in 9th place on 16 points, he's having to work his way back to the form we saw in the past few seasons
That elusive first title seems to be just out of his grasp, but could Porto see a reversal of fortunes?
Hall got his first ever podium in Porto back in 2009 so this could really bolster the Australian
And this is a very solid Q1 for Hall – it's a 1:08.776 and it moves him into the top spot!
Now his Q2 run needs to be more aggressive if he wants to send a message to the top pilots
