CHALLENGER CUP STARTLIST PORTO:
And here comes American pilot Kevin Coleman to kick off proceedings!
Sitting in 4th place so far on 16 points, Coleman needs his first win to really challenge the frontrunners
This is a strong start for the Challengers and he's through with a very respectable and clean 1:19.019
Conditions out on the track are very stable, ideal for racing
Second to fly is Melanie Astles, who finished in 5th in yesterday's Qualifying after picking up 2 sets of penalties at Gates 6 and 13
Will she fare better when it really counts?
It's looking clean, but she's not as fast as Coleman...
1:19.756 for Astles and she's +0.737s behind the American
Third pilot to mark the halfway stage is Daniel Genevey of Hungary, who made his debut this year
Although he's at the bottom of the standings on 8 points, his style and attitude have been noted
Genevey looks to be taking the VTMs very cautiously and this is costing him valuable time in the track
Genevey can't claw time back against Coleman's pace
