Murphy up next... the British pilot has had a stellar 2018 season as a newcomer in the Master Class. It's a great position for Murphy, who's looking like he could take a podium as the first splits go green. Precision from the former Red Arrows pilot.... out of the VTM cleanly and the heading is great through Gate 7 which has caused so many pilots problems this weekend... the splits are green but the LAST split is RED and Murphy slots into second behind Chambliss in the Final 4... under review but it's a clean sheet and Murphy hasn't got the race win, but he could be on the podium.

Hall into the track at 178kts. He's into the chicane and it's smooth and it's precise... first splits at 0.022s ahead and the light goes GREEN. Hall into the first VTM... chasing Chambliss's ghost plane but the splits go RED! He's trailing behind there...Gate 7 looks good and CRUCIALLY it's clean... into the second VTM and Hall is pulling ahead. Martin Sonka is into the racetrack... entry speed is 178kts.. he's just ahead of Hall in the first split as the light goes green... Sonka has a good margin of speed ahead of Hall. Concise flying and he's taken a leap forward in the margins out of that VTM. It's looking SO good for Sonka. No faults, Sonka is pulling out the performance of his career right here and right now and he KNOWS HE'S DONE IT! SONKA IS CHAMPION!!!
