Red Bull Air Race 2018 - Kazan

Red Bull Air Race 2018 - Kazan

The Red Bull Air Race returns to Russia for the second time in the motorsport's history. The pilots touch down in Kazan on 25-26 August 2018. Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia and home to more than a million people. The city lies at the meeting point of the River Volga and Kazanka River, which is overlooked by the Kazan Kremlin – a World Heritage Site. Follow the Red Bull Air Race here!

And that wraps up the fifth round of racing from Russia... what a ride! The super-fast track produced some unexpected results for the World Championship pilots. Victory for Sonka as he moves up the standings and makes his bid for the World Champion title... frustration for Hall who drops into third place overall after failing to progress to the Final 4 for the second time this season.

America's Mike Goulian goes to the top of the rankings, 6 points ahead of Sonka in second. We'll be back racing in Austria on 15-16 September, for the sixth round at an all-new location in Wiener Neustadt.

Stick around to watch the press conference, coming up at 14:00UTC/17:00 local time. And see you in Austria!!!
