That's a solid time and Sonka will need to stay error-free. He's an expert at handling racing under pressure, so let's see what Sonka will serve up here in Kazan...
Le Vot clocked in at 1:03.023 in the Round of 14 so he just needs to bring the same game to the Round of 8 to secure a place in the Final 4
Hall doesn't have to worry about a competitive time, he just needs to fly cleanly and beat Ivanoff's time to secure that Final 4 spot
Hall the last pilot into the track for the Round of 8. He's cleared into the track and he clocks in the first split almost a second faster than Ivanoff, but we're seeing a conservative performance and some big, almost sloppy turns from Hall through the chicane. He knows it has to be clean, and the VTMs are good, but it seems as though he's just holding back some energy from this flight and not taking any chances as the wind swirls around the track. He clocks in at 1:04.115 and takes a spot in the Final 4.
Muroya first in for the Final 4. Here we go!
A nervous wait for Muroya as Hall heads into the track as the last pilot out in the racetrack today.
